- Spearheaded the development of a custom ERP in CodeIgniter (PHP) for Herzal, Mexico’s largest corporate furniture company, encompassing finance, payroll, invoices, supplier/client communication, inventory, attendance, manufacturing, material planning, and procurement.
- Engineered and executed PostgreSQL database architecture and REST API integrations to streamline complex enterprise operations.
- Developed a React Native mobile application for factory production stations, equipping operators with real-time digital work orders, blueprints, and task management features.
- Constructed a cutting optimizer in PHP that produces cutting blueprints for raw materials and automatically transmits them via VPN to CNC cutting machines. Integrated with the React Native factory app, allowing operators to initiate jobs and receive optimized cutting layouts directly on the machines, thereby eliminating manual arrangements.
- Created a facial recognition API in Python (OpenCV), managing over 400 faces for Herzal and 2,000+ faces at Mexico City International Airport (AICM), achieving an average response time of 0.4 seconds per request.
- Formulated a biometric categorization algorithm to optimize face search space, significantly diminishing recognition time and augmenting system scalability.
- Implemented liveness detection mechanisms to prevent spoofing (photos/videos), requiring real-time user actions (e.g., blinking, head movements, mouth opening/closing).
- Currently architecting an MQTT-based check-in system for employees to clock in via mobile devices, featuring real-time geolocation, liveness validation, and facial recognition capabilities.
